Caroline and Matthew's Caswell House Wedding

Cotswoldery!

Caroline and Matthew had originally planned to marry here at Caswell House in lovely Oxfordshire waaaaay back in the before-times (er…May last year) and postponement after postponement led to yesterday’s FINALLY moment. Their endless patience was rewarded though, as the sun shone and the gardens bloomed specially for them (Honestly, those flowers and wotnot? 1st July baby! 2nd July? Gone….True story*).

*this is patently nonsense.

I had a lovely catch-up with bridesmaid Helen and her husband Will, whose wedding I photographed 3 years ago and was kept very good company by videographer/filmmaker Rupert. He patiently put up with me trying not to get in his way but probably still very much getting in his way anyway. For being so nice, I thank him :)

The wedding ceremony was led by officiant extraordinaire Lynn Tierney, who created a personal ceremony with the couple which included eating lemons and chillies because reasons and why not.

The grounds and gardens of Caswell House were perfect for outdoor celebrating - with a handy marquee just in case - and they were even able to chuck some shapes around on the patio-not-a-dancefloor as the sun went down.

Have a good mooch through their day…
