An Intimate Portmeirion Wedding

Rebecca and Dan married at Portmeirion Village in North Wales surrounded by their closest friends and family…

Our uber-talented baby-brewing bride Rebecca made her own wedding dress (embroidering on the morning of the wedding for goodness’ sake!) as well as their current littlest daughter’s dress AND handmade all the buttonholes, the bouquet and wands. Overachieving brides ftw!

I was only needed for a few hours from their intimate ceremony in the Tudor Room to drinks, canapes and speeches at the Portmeirion Hotel which perches on the estuary headland looking out towards the sea. I’ve loved Portmeirion since first visiting over 30 years ago (bloody hell) and honestly, if you’ve never been, then you very much should. If you love mountains, the sea and unnecessarily extra Italianate villages then it’s the place for you. Niche maybe, but I’m a fully signed up member of that specific gang.

Here’s a selection from their day. I’m back there tomorrow in the rain so that’ll be a whole ‘nother blog ;)

Linkledinks - er, there’s only one really as Rebecca bossed so much of it herself!
