Nadia and Daniel at Rock Village Hall

Just when I thought I'd seen the back of the summer, along came yesterday and the most perfect of sunshiney days for Nadia and Dan's wedding in the Worcestershire village of Rock...

I won't lie - I've been looking forward to this wedding for...oh, about two years! Nadia got in touch way back then, when building her now-booming business Jam Jar Weddings and Events.

The wedding was planned to include village fete activities, so sack races, hoola-hooping, welly-wanging and chucking things at other things were the order of the day. A 'Great Woodhall Wedding Bake Off' competition filled the dessert table (clever!) and with the weather just perfect for us, I was in my element capturing all the fun of the fayre :D

I popped along the day before to catch up with Nadia, Daniel and co. setting up at the village hall in Rock (one of the best village hall venues I know!) to give you an idea of the work put in by everyone to bring everything together for the big day. The bride even made her own wedding cake!

Flowers and bouquets were all homemade by Nadia's bridesmaids, whilst the food serbed at the reception took the form of a picnic with hampers on every table.

Venue dressing was of course by Nadia at Jam Jar Wedding and Events: http://www.jamjarweddingsandevents.co.uk/
