Ben and Carla at Colville Hall

HUGE SMILES I mean, really big ones, because this wedding was such a joy to be a little part of and I got to revisit the beautiful Colville Hall in Essex…

The couple found me via photographs I’d shot at a wedding at the same venue a couple of years ago, and were over the moon to find I was also local to them in Worcestershire (what are the odds?) Happily I have family darn sarf that I can annoy by using them like a hotel so as an Essex girl, returning to the motherland is never a chore :)

It’s an incredible venue with a collection of beautiful barns for the ceremony, for the party, getting ready in, hanging out, for just looking at and taking photos near...honestly it’s gorgeous.

Ben and Carla had a traditional Jewish ceremony which has lots of moving parts, including a first look and occasional bursts of mega-dancing which was one of the biggest highlights of my day. Have a gawp, it’s worth it I promise:
